I remembered my neighbour's attap house but there was very few leakage inside the house when it rained. I was told that the attap leaves were being laid out in a few layers and in a particular way where the rain water would not collect so there was no problem of leaking.

u have a clever neighbour

everyone who lived in an attap house would do the same and they helped one another to lay the attap leaves. The leaves must be replaced once every few years.
