[Strparent, I don't think the majority of those staying away from TJS are doing so on account on being within their comfort zone. He has shown himself to be somewhat of a divisive figure, and I fear his need to appease his supporters' agenda than the man himself, whom I'm sure is an honourable person, like all the other candidates.

I agree. I am totally not comfortable with him. His rally is like a mini opposition rally!

and this is the fact for abt 20% of Singaporeans. They prefer to stay in their comfort zone. :siam:

Peace and good luck! I can live with any of these 4 being elected, though TJS poses for me, the most risk.

Saw many comments in other forums that suggests that TJS will resist or oppose the Govt or something to that effect..

Which I feel is totally baseless..

Since when did he give the impression that he will resist or oppose the Govt?

A lot of pple cannot understand that \"For the People\" is Not the same as \"Oppose the Govt\"..

Unless, it is a rogue Govt..

In which case, we really need someone who can Oppose the GOVT.. Isn't it? :evil:
