Not say child, I also cannot so dd1 doesn't have so many activities on her plate
But then again many kids are managing so I'm a lazy mum but ok lah I can accept it. I manage expectations accordingly. -
DD1 only have Chinese Enrichment at Han Language and Chinese Dance as CCA. Eng and Maths will taughht by me so still can manage. But she say y she got no time to watch cartoons with DD2 and DS1... Feel sad for her as when she reach home already 7.45pm

It takes so much energy and time sending kids to CCA and other activities. My kids want to learn everything if we allowed them. But we donβt fancy ferrying and hanging around waiting for them. So DH and I are quite lazy couple.

Don't feel sad, it will be better when she's in the morning session -

Ya.. my boy has also joined CO as his CCA since last year.. and he was looking forward for the CCA to commence..
Twice a week from this year onwards... so I just hope his passion for this won't die off soon..
lol.. but these 2 lessons.. he had no chance to touch on that instrument yet..

Yes, there's weightage. I can't remember is it 5% or 10% for dd1's school
same think 10% -
I am pro CCA. But provided it is logistically possible and manageable time wise. Unfortunately, DSβs school have very limited CCA choices. I just signed DS up for chess lessons since he is interested in that.
DS has piano, swimming, chinese tuition and now chess. All done at home except for Chess, so minimal need to travel all around. I will eventually register Chess as DSβs CCA so he will not join any CCA in school. -

What do you mean you would register chess as CCA? The school recognizes external activities?I am pro CCA. But provided it is logistically possible and manageable time wise.
