Thank you peapot. You remembered the bow and arrows. haha. Unfortunately, they are now just a memory.

Her results for the whole year has been like a roller coaster, can be highest in class to below average. I also dunno what to expect. I leaned on her before the exams to get her to focus but did not really push her. She is nervous because her teachers told her she should be a 90+ kind of calibre and she is afraid she might fall short of expectations. Told her all teachers do that. If you score low 80s, they say you have potential to be mid-high 80s, if you score high 80s they say you can do 90+. That is their job, to make you reach for more. But at the end of the day, so long as you have put in the necessary effort and done your best, whatever the results, good or bad, we move on. This is just one of many more exams, and life is way more than exams.

                      Thank you,

DD Chinese paper today, tomorrow last paper science.
To be honest very tiring year for me. Hv to guide her throughout.

Results most likely frm we'd onwards. Very nervous. šŸ˜“
My DD says that I am more nervous then her.
Do you all experience the same thing or is it only me
                      :thankyou: , yqyq and ponyo.. čÆ·å¤šå¤šęŒ‡ę•™ šŸ˜„

Mum03, it's not just you. I've lots of butterflies in my tummy too. My girl NEVER ever gotten full marks for chinese listening comprehension no matter how much practice we went through. In the end, I just gave up. She would come up with all kinds of explanations for her answer when the majority of the class gets it right with no problem :slapshead: :faint:

Anyone else with the same problem?

She came home today, says the Chinese paper was easy. I say so can get full marks she kept quite. The problem is we are not Chinese, whatever she says I take it with a pinch of salt, cause I only can trust her judgement.

I have the same problem as you fireflyMom. When the papers start coming she will have a bagful of excuses.

I am looking forward to tomorrow, which will be her last paper. I am going to a spa tomorrow to distress. It's going to be my time.
