You just woke up to a MAJOR day in global markets. The S&P500 puked its guts out and Asian markets are going to BLEED! The Head & Shoulders pattern broke down 2 days ago, tested and failed the neckline and then hit its downside target within 2 days with a 60 point drop in the S&P500! Amazing volatility!

It's good news only cos I am protected...
Volatility is a double edged sword... so swing it right, you do not get hurt... swing it wrongly or not at all, you get hurt.
This was coming... and is not the end unfortunately.
In SG, unfortunately, not many easy mechanisms to handle and protect situations like these... :imdrowning:

Hiya kiddo!

There is one more thing... that there certainly will be uncertainty.
And much more of it...

I feel bad... that's why I am making effort in the long run... cos I see many who are unwittingly being drowned once the tsunami hits.

We ALL will be hit... cos it is likely that more liquidity will be thrown in in the name of \"save the market\"... and when that happens, massive infltion will set in. Not that it has not happened... it already started since mid-2000s.
Now, it will be tolerated... and eventually, there is a time where all debts need to be sorted.

Until then, things will be interesting...

Hang in there... learn much...
and more importantly...
We need to teach our children what we learn now, not what we learnt yesteryear... it is no longer relevant.
We need to teach them how to cope with a world we do not know how it will exist... a world that only history can guide us.
Very tough to be a parent in many sense of the word...

A new age saying goes...
The illiterate of the future are not those who cannot read or write, but those who do not know how to learn, relearn, and learn more.
