2014???
Hi kabalevsky,kabalevsky:
The P and VP of FPS are strong pull factors. The VP is very prompt in replying emails and queries. She replied me personally each time. The P gave a good first impression at the soft launch. Of course, these are PR skills and may not reflect on how the school will be like in future.
But I believe that if the leaders care about the parents' concerns and take efforts to welcome the parents and make them feel involved, it is a good start.
Glad to hear read your feedback. I am a hopeful for 2014 intake. Just wrote an email to FPS this morning and been waiting whole morning for a reply. Hopefully i get a response without waiting until hair drop off

yes, 2014 - next year registration. I am contemplating all my options of Rosyth vs Frontier. If Rosyth, i have to shift house. My hb is old boy.
-
Oh I like Rosyth too. It has excellent CCAs and a good range of activities for all levels. You have to consider very carefully!

Frontier - 240 vacancies
Phase 1 - 20 taken up.
Phase 2A - 0 (correct me if I am wrong)
Phase 2B - xx (not started)
As Frontier is a new school, there won’t be any 2A right?
Last yr, 2B got 5 seats taken. Wonder this yr will have how many. -
Hi Everyone,
Am thinking of registering my child in this sch too as we stay a stone throw away :boogie:
Like to hear from parents their views regarding the sch in terms of homework, staff etc..appreciate all feedback, thank you
-
Hi may wong,
There might be Phase 2A, because there might be members from the school advisory committee whose kids want to register. (Phase 2A1)
or there might be kids of school staff who want to register (Phase 2A2)
But as it is a new school with smaller school staff strength, yes the numbers will not be too large.

Hi mianbao,
My son loves his teachers. I think his form teacher is firm but caring.
As for homework, it is still manageable. Not a lot, maybe more on Friday for the weekend, but during the week he still has lots and lots of time to play. I am happy for that.

Hi…
Heard from DS today that one child was suspended for one week!
Anyone knows about this?
Is it the norm to suspend Primary children from school?? -
I’m not sure… Haven’t heard anything about it. Is it from your ds’ class?
-
Must be something serious till need to suspend bah.
P1 already get suspend, I like this kind of disciplinary treatment.
