This is so true and I am speaking from experience. After PSLE is over, you will stress over the results. Then after results are out, you will stress over choice of school. After you have chosen the schools, you will stress over school posting results. By then , it's end of Dec. And when you finally think that the stress is over, the Sec 1 stress begins.

Hahahaha :rotflmao: no wonder you are in ER (Emergency Room) 😉 ....jkjk
Take one step at a time, scale each mountain as it comes lor.
I see PSLE as a journey, for those who embark on this journey together with DS/DD, you will share the laughter and tears of DS/DD. It is one of the rare and last times when you will be this close and involved in his/her life, studies, tuition, school, lessons. After that, most will let go and release the kid in Secondary School, thus the PSLE memory is actually something quite unique to such parents.

Once the kids enter Sec 1, that's the time for us to relax 🕺 and another stress will haunt us later. :nailbite: It's 'O' levels.[/quote]
That's what I thought before my DS started Sec 1. You'll know what I mean next year. Enjoy the PSLE journey now.

6 more months to go for PSLE!!!!! :yikes: Good Luck!!

          Hi everyone,

Yes, the heat is on! Have stepped up my DS's revision efforts. Put up a daily schedule etc. Hopefully it works! Good luck to all. To borrow Obama's initial presidential campaign cry, \"Yes, we can!\"

The weather is also very HOT 😓
Tomorrow I have to plan a new weekly time-table for my son.

Wow.. You guys are fantastic! :udawoman: I have difficulties following the time table due to my son's school & tuition homework. Not forgetting his tuition & supplementary classes. Anyway, will try to ask him to do his revision on those days with lesser homework. Have to make sure he has sufficient rest & not overloaded too.

Like what my son's once fav cartoon Bob the builder always ask, 'Can we fix it ?' YES, WE CAN :rahrah:
It's going to be tough ride 😓 ahead, but we must work with our kids to help achieve them achieve their dream of getting into their choice secondary schools.

                    Hey babe,
I am having difficulties this year trying to follow time table too. School and tuition homework are crazy but both equally important. Have to give more desserts to sweeten him 🤷 or else he will not cooperate.
On other hand, have to make sure he has chance to sweat out and release stress.

My dd’s classmates one by one falling sick and the teachers got the hint and cut down the amount of homework to practically 1 piece of worksheet only. So do take care not to stress the kids too much.

Yes, taking rest is very important as well. We must be aware of it all the time.
