      Hi everyone,

Just a reminder to change the battery of your dd's or ds' calculator. Don't want them to panic if suddenly the calculator low batt during Prelims / PSLE !

Best of luck ! Cheers! :rahrah: :rahrah:
      Good suggestion.

I understand some students bring 2 calculators into the exam.

Yes, max 2 calculators (approved MOE ones) are allowed per student. 😄

Hi, also was informed in school briefing not to bring watches that beep. So it’s back to the simple analog one for the PSLE exams.

In my ds prelim, teacher also confiscated e-dict for those days not permitted to bring.

All these will come handy in order to give full focus and concentration for the final battle.

A friend advised me to get everything checked:
            1) calculator battery...change to new battery and bring spare.
            2) dictionary also change battery and bring spare.
            3) make sure your spectacles are in good condition.
            4) BE kiasu. Bring spare calculator and dictionary.

Better be safe…bring more pens (must be tested) and 2B pencils must be sharpened. My friend told me her daughter’s spectacle frame split just before PSLE. She had to rush home to bring spare.

                  Parents of PSLE students,

Not sure about your schools this year, but last year, most schools asked for e-dictionaries, paper dictionaries, calculators to be certified by the schools before the actual PSLE. So, if your kid is bringing along a spare one, please ensure these are brought for certification too (else not allowed to bring in).

Also, some schools require that you bring along all your stationaries in transparent pencil case or even ziploc bag. So parents, please make sure you have these ready in case the schools require for it last minute (my kid’s school did that to us parents last year). They will also need to bring their student pass daily for PSLE verification, so just make sure they have that all the time.

Finally, for stationaries, make sure bring ball-point pens (not gel pen or fine marker type) and 2B pencils and good big erasers (that will not roll off the table). For Maths, make sure you have extra sets of rulers, protractors and set squares fr your kids. Parents, top up your stationaries stock before the big day to prevent any last minute mad rush.

                  All the Best!!!

                    :thankyou: Pen88n for sharing.

Yes, my dd school has informed them to put all necessary stationery in a ziplock bag to be used for the coming Prelims and to bring along their student pass too.

My ds will take his PSLE next year. His weaker subjects are English and Chinese. The biggest challenge for me is his bochap attitude. I am worried but he does not seem to care.

this was one year ago. hope now no more bochap
