is it important to practice the P6 prelim paper of other schools for the same year? there are many free paper for other years available in the internet which is enough to keep my child busy…

My son does past year papers for Math and Science. This way, he is exposed to different ways that questions can be phrased. Just getting handful of this year alone is already tough, it's impossible to do more. But he did practise his school's Math paper from last year...his tutor zapped a copy for him.

Which year does not make much difference. Don't have to be this year paper. The main purpose is to expose the kids to the different type of questions. If your child have not done previous year papers, can just do those in the Internet. No point to buy more papers now. Still have homework & supplementary lessons. Only left two weeks to PSLE written papers. Any idea which website has NYPS 2010 Maths paper?

Please forgive me if this question has been asked before. There're 200 over pages... really don't have time to go through every page.

May I know where can I find info on the approved Chinese digital dictionary for PSLE? There was once that my DS was searching high & low for his Chinese digital dictionary. It was then I realised that I better get 1 extra for him. But he told me his model is outdated thou it's still accepted for PSLE. So now I need to get another model for him.
May I also know where can I get the dictionary???

Both Creative & Besta are acceptable. Check them out at popular bookstore.

Reading this blog at times it makes you receive lots of mental supportive :grphug: but at times really stress up.. :nailbite: especially when seeing all other DD or DS doing so much and yet own DC still don't know the time is running out. Even min school homework only like one math prelim past year pp, 1 portion of english paper cum 1 chinese comprehensive already dragging till 12am but still yet to complete. :slapshead:

wow, which sch is ur DC from? So much work? U mean ur DC work till 12am???

My DS's school didn't give so much work now. Only test paper but on ave 2 per day. Yesterday no homework!!!!

Just like to share, other than school work, my DS is not doing anymore assessment or test papers for the past 2 weeks.


Instead, I told him to revise all those mistakes that he made while he did his assessment/test papers in the past. To me, it’s more impt to learn from mistakes rather than just doing assessment/test papers but without learning what he’s doing.
