Yes, dont discuss it now...My dd said that she has made one mistake. I responded with a smile that it is ok as she has never obtained full marks for English before.

I am not sure if it is wise to discuss the content of the compo in details here as it may make the child feels that he/she may go out of point, thus losing some confidence. We just have to celebrate one paper down and move on to Maths now.
I never discuss with my DD what happened during the exam, instead i told her whatever is done leave it to the marker and God to decide what marks you will get! discussion will not help
Concentrate on the next paper -

Mine wrote 'Jane's frequent argument with her brother was over toys'[/quoteDoDo Bird:
yes yes... Jane's frequent arguments with her brother were over toys. I DS corrected me.
My DS said that the question was\"Jane always argues with her brother over toys\"
So it should be Jane's frequent argument with her brother is over toys. Only one kind of argument..... -

I am a P6 student who is using my mom's acc. I think that the answer should be \"had been\". The question typed here is not accurate. If I remember correctly, there is a past tense in Question 11. :?

my son chose \"had been\".... :faint:

And I should also stop reading the posts here too...cos after reading, I have to exercise self control not to ask my dd.

At it is now, my dd has practically no reaction on the English papers. She just said ok lor, compo similar to prelim compo, made one mistake already. This is already great news to us. Yes, we should just move on to Maths, a paper which one can score full marks, unlike English.
All the best to everyone for Maths paper! -
LE ANN:
By the way, psle marking for composition dont like too creative kind of writing
Hi Maybe your son is very creative and describing the happy ocassion ending up in tragedy.... instead of partying all the way. score point in something different.mamago:
:slapshead: Ai yoh... DS's Compo didn't do the continuous one... He chose the picture one instead :stupid:
And, from the picture of that boy and girl hiding under the table, balloons party ware etc.... don't know how he ended up writing about a fire scene that broke out there.... why not continue with party party party :stupid: :stupid: :stupid:
I just died 3 x after hearing him described what he wrote in his comp... :faint: :faint: :faint:
Why why why, so gei-kiang lah my dear son??
(only can come here to vent, dare not say a thing to DS
)
