Son said Math paper most difficult.

Finally it's all over...but I feel a sense of loss. From rushing home for daily tuition sessions to completely NO tuition is hard to accept. Before PSLE, I wanted this craziness to end, but now I miss my tutors. How ironic.
Your routine has been disrupted, that's why......but a new routine will be developed and on Jan 8 or Jan 9, the education journey continues..
So please enjoy this time while it lasts!!!

Go facial, colour your hair or change hairdo, massages, manicure, pedicure, exercise, yum char, shopping and catch up with your friends.....then go for a good holiday and then start preparation for secondary..... :yikes: time flies by so quickly!!!
how come this time science discussion not very active huh? :? :?

everybody go play already is it? :imcool: :imcool:

No, Dd still has HMT tmrw, she is \"forbidden\" to come here, though she tried to.

Hi all here,
May I know whether there are any advantages taking the much more difficult Higher Chinese? Is this a requirement to gain admission into a SAP school?
My DS is P4 now, have to decide to choose Higher Chinese or not at end of this year right?

TIA,
Xiaohu
Yes, HMT adds 1-pass, 2-merit or 3-distinction points to T-score if you plan to apply to SAP schools.

We have discussed before with other parents, if your child's 4 subjects are all doing ok, regardless going SAP school or not, it is still worthwhile learning HMT for higher competency in mother tongue as mother tongue is still important to some of us.

Hi KSI,
Thanks so much! Very helpful information. He's doing ok so far in 4 subjects, but Chinese is his weakest's and requiring his most effort. I would really like him to take HMT, yes, for learning his mother tongue sake.

Thanks again,
Xiaohu

My DS just managed to sleep now. He was so overly excited about tomorrow after his last paper. Got his dad to buy the xbox live ready to play when he comes back. He kept telling me that he couldn’t believe that his Psle journey is going to end tomorrow as it seems that time past so fast for the last few months for him. He said is party time until end of year!

You are welcome. If he does not mind learning it and his school is supportive of it, it is worthwhile immersing in it while he is still young.
