Yes, top in nation will surely get a call from the school.Top in school will depend on the school itself.
Some school like dd school will not call as the teacher mentioned that she wants a memorable experience for the student.

I think a lot of the P6 mums will be chatting on ksp the night before the posting results. Can’t sleep so keep each other company.
