Yes, he got offered. He is v excited about the school! But yes, considering.
Congrats!!! -

Thanks, harini. If you read the comments on SST website in ther shoutbox - many ppl have voiced similar concerns. I am not sure what was their criteria to choose students and no disrespect to those who got chosen.
I am sure there will b many who dont take up the CO as well and so if ur son is very keen on SST, I personally think being on WL he has a good chance
I didn't even know they have a shoutbox!
Have to wait till 26 oct when the students have to confirm their offers.
Actually wonder how many are on the waiting list. -
Did anyone attend the Outreach workshop? I had registered but could not make it.
Was there a chance to clarify our qtns with the Principal ?? -

My son has received a confirmed offer from SST. He is very excited about the school. However, because it is such a new school, I too have some reservations. I don't know how serious are those people in the shoutbox. Have to take everything they say with a huge lump of salt, I guess. We didn't try to DSA any other school because it is really stressful. Was actually hoping that he would gain admission into a good school with his PSLE results. We were actually eyeing Victoria until SST came into the picture.

Will your son be accepting SST? Any other comments would be helpful. -

Congrats!! It's strange that you did not receive the invite to the workshop.
To harini and carebear - Let's hope that your kids will not be discouraged by being on the waitlist. This will most likely spur them to do their best during the PSLE. Like what the others have said, there will be those who will not accept the offer. Hopefully, they will get another chance to get into SST since they are so excited about the school.
Good luck to all P6s. -

My son got a confirmed offer. But I donβt know if that school is the right school to go. It seems to new as there is no gurantee that it will produce good students with good O Level results. Whatβs more is that there is no applied subjects at JC level. Where does that leave the students? If there Is a IP programme, then the students will go straight to University taking applied subjects. It sounds promising I must say though.
