      in a game,every 2 bonus stickers will be given for every 6 sticker won. if Bala have 35 stickers, how many sticker did he win?

      i cant seem to work this out, is there a typo error?
      let me try
      6 ----- 6+2=8
      12--------12+4=16
      .
      .
      24--------24+8=32
      35-32=3
      he won 24+3=27 stickers

          3 books=2 pens;
          2pens+5 books=32
          so, 3 books +5 books =32

          1 book=4

          1pen=6

          3 pens+3 books=30

            Hi,

            if 3 books cost as much as 2 pens,
            let’s say if we dont buy the pens,
            with $32, we can buy 8 books.

            1 book = $4.

            3books = 2pens = $12
            1 pen = $6.

            3 pens = $18
            3 books = $12
            total : $30.

              can someone guide me this question?

              thanks in advance.
              If Vera gives Bala 2 stickers, he will have the same number of stickers as Vera.
              If Bala gives Vera 2 stickers, Vera will have 5 times as many stickers as Bala.
              How many stickers does each of them have respectively?

              pls go to page11 of this thread.this qn did there.

              thanks, smart mummy. may i know how to locate the questions so i can search it by myself next time? i have tried it before but i couldn't find it.

                If a page is given to you, click on the goto button at the page area and insert \"11\" into it to get to page 11.

                If page is not given, use the search function, put P4 Math as the thread to search and put key word as bala and vera, you should be able to get something.
