My problem is that the teacher doesn’t give the correct answers, just asks my dd to do the corrections. I gave her the answer to one of her worksheet questions and she got it wrong, and I didn’t know how to correct it.


I have given the feedback to the teacher and she said she will try to help my dd more. But she said she only has four science lessons a week, plus teachers will change according to the topic.

How much did your kid score for mcq?

Hi, just saw your message. I don't remember her score, but she failed the entire CA1 paper.

hm...you should take a more detailed look at her paper.
if you can determine what is the allocation of marks and where is her weak areas, it is better to quickly focus on the one that is easier to pick up so that her morale wont slide further.
ie if her Mcq is as poorly done as her OE, focus on MCQ for a start. based on standard paper, with MCQ upon 60 marks, if you can score 50, you pass the paper even without starting on OE.

you mean the teacher mark wrong and ask the kid to do corrections with no model answer? weird....
how to correct with no model answers?
change teachers according to topic? wow...i thought 1 teacher follow through..

question (a) is Solid. Why? Can be answer Liquid? As both are cannot compressed.

No.1 lens X and lens Y block out too much light… Total darkness. Lens w makes little difference. Lens z blocks out abt 50% of light… So it seems fair.

For the insecticide question, the \"cloud\" of insecticide is actually in the liquid state itself, much like the clouds in the sky. Only difference is the clouds in the sky are made up of tiny water droplets while those from the can are made up of droplets of insecticide.
