They will usually outgrow reflux, don’t worry!
I’ve heard from friends facing the same problem: They get some form of thickener from PD to add to milk & food to help prevent reflux. Maybe you can ask the PD too? -

I have to be careful with the bits and pieces because although he can chew and some times he can take it in, there are many occasions that he will end up gagging on the pieces :nailbite:
Mine loves his porridge! And I've stopped blending (he's 7.5mths now).
He prefers to chew on his food than to have mushy food (so unlike DS1)! -

She recommended Friso comfort, to be taken after breastfeeding.
So for DS2, I wasn't able to breastfeed exclusively, unlike DS1 .... -

Don't feel bad. I have to start FM soon too. Boobs drying up with hectic work schedule! I BF DS1 till 18mths but DS2 gotta start FM soon. Keep telling hubby how bad I feel but he kept assuring me that it doesn't mean I love DS2 any lesser (so true)!

My DD2 also prefers porridge to Cereal. I tried mixing Bellamy with Frisocream but she can detect it. :stupid:mrswongtuition:

I did exactly what you did and my sonny was gullible enough to lap it all up  -

The Friso one is up to one year old. Am still at two minds whether to continue with FM or switch to fresh milk ....

Most likely Similac, then 1yo onwards will give fresh milk (like DS1).

Oh really? I thought Frisocream is sweeter as it smells very good. Nestle din have the sweet smell. Maybe i should taste both and compare.
I find Nestle even sweeter than Frisocream. Have tried organic rice cereal (Bellamy) with my bb but she doesn't like it even when I add fruit puree to it. :moneyflies:tigger88:
I just started giving plain rice cereal to my 5 months old baby. I bought the Nestle brand as I cannot find the Heinz plain rice cereal anymore.
What other brands of rice cereal are good to start with? I find Frisocream too sweet. -
mrswongtuition:
mrswongtuition, can i find these organic brands from supermarket?
So far seems like not many babies like Bellamy. Try Organix or Happy Baby -
autumnbronze:
Yes AB, agree that its delicious. My 3 older kids love frisocream when they were babies.
You are right tigger88!!!tigger88:

Sweet but so delicious.
My DS2 is so used to it that now that I have started with home cooked blended brown rice and vegetables, he is protesting but ok lah, not too bad, he is getting used to it
