My boy is currently 11 months old. I am wondering where your babies are sleeping at this age? My boy is still sleeping in his playpen but I have a thought to change his mattress because it was soiled with his poos, pees and vomits after 11 months of usage… But then, I thought it would be a waste if he were to just use it for a few more months before he grow out of the playpen. When he stands in the playpen, the height is already at his chest so give a few more months, I am sure it will be dangerous to put him inside there for the fear that he will fall over if he bends.
I am not sure what do so any advise would be appreciated!
TIA! -
My baby decided not to sleep in his playpen at 1 year old, so now I put him on my bed with me or on a mattress on the floor.
Or you can opt for getting his own bed in another room but I guess I enjoy seeing him sleep so not ready to let him go independant yet. -
My boy is also finding it uncomfortable sleeping on the cot. It's too narrow and he is a mover
He is still suffering from reflux, although it has vastly improved. So for now, he is sleeping on our bed.
As for potty trained, the good news is that when he poos, he will point to his bum. And when he is uncomfortable in his pampers cuz he finds it too wet, he will point to the front. 2 more months before he turns 18 months, then I will start with formal potty training. In the mean time, I am trying to introduce the potty and explaining what it is to him

We are right now using the playpen only when we need to "confine" my BB for a short-while while we dash to the toilet or when we need to do heavy cooking and cannot have him around the kitchen. He hates being confined in the playpen hence most times it only work for a short period while the milk/juice last before he starts to scream to be let out! Therefore BB has never slept in the playpen before. He will nap in his cot but the moment he gets up, he will also make noise to be let out. At night BB is sleeping with me in the large bed. He gets a much better night’s sleep by sleeping with me else when he slept with the maid, he would get up in the middle of the night and then could not sleep wanted to look for me and cling to me. It is also a nice feeling to have BB snuggling up to me in the middle of the night!

Hi, full time mummy reporting for my 2nd boy born on 24 Dec 2011 from the eastern SG. My boy has been growing very healthily at home after I pulled him out from the infant care, already started booking places at child care centres as I realized the queue for getting into a popular one is very long during my search for a proper place for my 2 yr old. Hoping to share and learn here.

Hi
I am FTWM. I have 2 dds, born in 2003 and 2011.
My dd sleeps on a mattress on the floor. She doesnt like playpen and her baby cot now.
dd is not potty trained but sometimes she will tell the helper she wants to poo poo.
dd uses mamy poko pant...so far so good...
dd naps 2 times a day; morning and afternoon, sleeps at 7.30pm and wakes up at 7.30am
Anyone sending your ds or dd to pre-Nursery in Jan 2013? I am considering Jan or Jun or later :scratchhead:
