Hi, after reading through all the answers that are being shared, I just want to clarify a few answers:

Black & white tiles qn : answer is 180 metre sq (area of black tiles)
Another qn (not sure qn no.) : 4576 (NOT 4567)

Sorry , it is 4576 , Mis typed it.

180 sq,m is correct for part b, part a is 5/9.

Hi, based on my son's feedback, the answer is \"At first/Initially, the writer was arrogant and reckless, but after the incident, he became more humble and careful/cautious.\" His teacher always reminds them to state the contrast (before and after) for such questions.
