      Hi,

any recommendations for a good dentist for kids around bishan/amk/tpy/thomson area? 6 yr-old DS’s teeth need regular cleaning due to some recurring stains and we hope to find a dentist who is experienced in handling kids. Thanks in advance!

Sorry a bit off topic. My 6yo son req surgery to remove an extra tooth. Was being quoted $2.2k by the pd in Camden. Has anyone sent their child for dental surgery before? Is the price reasonable? Is it cheaper to go NDC? Seem like many parents r not happy with NDC. Pls help. Thks.

The price seems ok. I was at the dental clinic that day when I overheard a patient paying 2K+ for wisdom tooth surgery.

Lucky Plaza has a dental surgery who did a wisdom tooth surgery for around $600, fully paid by medisave, is an experienced dentist who has done thousands of such surgery

This is really cheap, especially in Orchard Area.

              i need help!

my DS1’s baby teeth has yet to drop any, he is in P2. Though his 2 front teeth are finally shaking for the past 2 months, it has yet to drop. But now a teeth is growing on this gum and it is getting bigger and bigger.

I listen to my dentist for more than 15 years and want my son’s baby teeth to drop by itself by DH is arguing that dentist should pull out his baby teeth. For me, i will let nature take it course but DH is not buying it. If my dentist wants to earn my money he can just extract for me right?

              any advice here

If the new tooth is coming out but the old one is there, won’t it affect the growth of the new one? I’m no dentist, but I say pull.

Did your dentist see his latest condition? If he say don’t, then believe. 15 years already. he would have seen enough.

just go take out the baby teeth

you will be surprised that it is literally just hanging on a thin blood vessel…

my DS teeth were like that, and the good dentist did not charge for ‘pulling’ out the baby teeth … how to charge as it is just literally ‘snapping’ it off the thin thread!!!

though it is shaking…but not to the extent it will drop by tugging it…

becuz of this, have a big fight with DH…yes my dentist has seen my DS. Way before DS’s baby teeth shaking, dentist already said DS will need braces in the future cause he has small jaw…then now DH saying or "accusing" dentist dun want to extract because DS’s teeth on the gum now will need alightment next time…then he wants to earn money from the braces… me like "huh"?

my DS’s shaking teeth still have not reach to "snapping" it off by a thread…

                      any good dentist to recommend?

I go to luminous at chai chee. There is a lady there who is pretty sensitive. I told her I was scared of pain and she kept checking in with meand was gentle but firm. Sorry I dun have the number, usually go online to find if I need.
