i have brought my DS to Camden Kids Dentistry. Dr is good, very professional. Dr told the same thing as my own dentist (we were seeking 2nd opinion), let DS’s teeth to drop by itself though dentist will extract for us if we insisted.

Took x-ray and in the end realized DS has missing adult teeth, 2 pre molars! genetic. Anyway, DS is a confirm braces case…have to start saving!

          hi ecyh75

Winth had posted earlier that the doctor she went to was Dr Hinly Lau of LQ Dental at Novena Medical Centre (Square 2).

I am gonna get DS to pay Dr Lau a visit soon. Luckily I saw winth’s post from your post. Also thought I should wait till DS was older to correct his jaw issue but after reading this, better do it asap to avoid surgery. Blessing in disguise that you included winth’s quote in your post.

          Thanks!

Hi jedamum, the cost is much cheaper than the specialist. Specialist charge will be about 4K. My dentist is not a specialist, so I paid much less, should be in total about 2.8K. 😄

Wow, i dint know implant so ex. No wonder the dentist was telling me second molar no need implant.
but when the tooth is shaky, we just encourage the kid to shake it.
Haha, this is what most kids do. It's a good habit to let children visit dentist. Mostly kids are afraid to see one.

                hi all

do use the services of school dentist if just to remove a shaky teeth..

i waited and waited and still my DS's front teeth doesn't want to drop, coming to almost 4 months already and it was really looking bad..

finally called and enquiry about his school's dental services and bingo, 2 front teeth gone 🙂 best of all..it is FOC...

Anyone can recommend a toothpaste for a 5yo? I bought the Colgate Barbie strawberry flavor one for my dd but she complains it’s spicy. Which brand of toothpaste do ur kids like?

Strawberry and bubble gum flavours are not bad.
