i've been lurking on this board for a while and I just thought I should warn you about the danger of most of the popular dental treatments today (yeah I know I couldbe tagged as a bringer of bad news)... and holding my breath now...

      http://cancercompassalternateroute.com/toxins/root-canals-and-cancer/

I have alread proven this to be true.,, based on my experiences and my mother's experience (she have breast cancer) and a friend who is recently diagnosed with (hopefully) benign breast tumuours (6 yrs after she had root canal treatments)...

amalgam fillings also contain mercury==> very very bad for health..

try to find a biological dentist who understands the connection between dental health and our overall health...

Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. Will do more reading on this. Pardon me for my ignorance but who is a biological dentist in local context? I've never come across such a term before.

Wide price range... ranges from made in China/turkey... to USA/canada... US$15- US$305... I bought the mid range price one from Spain... very excited, can't wait to try on it...

btw, comes with laser light or juz blue LED light, think shd be LED blue light.
wah....such a big price difference.....must do some research on it....

PS. I am very into porcelain white teeth like those in Hollywoods, luckily my teeth is in good shape, only I wished they are whiter... a girlfriend did the GlamSmile, polished off a layer of her natural teeth to lay on a layer of thin film (porcelain?) now her teeth are really WHITE... She spent $18K for that set of perfect-whites! Not only the \"whites\", the GlamSmile corrected a few of her misaligned teeth.... like the HK singer Sammi Cheng. :please:
18K for white teeth ?? :yikes:
i think i rather save the 18K for my old age...and settle for that Not so perfect teeth šŸ˜‰ šŸ˜‚

It's AUD500 per veneer... she did 20 teeth plus the correction of 3 crooked teeth... but I must say the result is amazing, she looks radiant with that perfect white and straight set of teeth, now she can wear the nude, the pale pink, the faint violet tone of lip colors and not looking sallow....

It's amazing how a set of teeth could've made such a difference in a person's look. :please:

All these \"root canal\" and \"crowning\" seem new terms to me.....
              I have Not visit a dentist for the past 10+ yrs....(touch wood šŸ˜‰ )
Think i better make an appt with any dentist to get my teeth a good checkup.....but i really hate to visit a dentist..... šŸ˜“
Good for you augmum. That means your teeth are \"born\" nice and healthy and hv been healthy.

I have been taking my set of great teeth for granted for so long until people around me got wisdom tooth extracted (and then ended up got complication), root canal, implants, braces, seeing Orthodonists etc. Those hear say and see for myself really woke me up.

some people need it. Eg artistes. See those Korean starS? All got such nice teeth (and I noticed they smiled s much!)

Kim ng (local artiste) also spent a bomb on getting her set of pearlies whiter than her white Porsche.

Hi, Augmum.... It's the LED light, not the Laser light like the dentist use!
I just opened the packet and tried on it... it was quite easy, I just used the \"tray\" that I already have... just squeeze in the whitening gel into the tray, wear it and shone the blue LED light on it for 10 mins.

Verdict?... :rahrah: šŸ•ŗ (got result worrrrr šŸ•ŗ ...)

                    read about biological dentistry here..

                    http://iaomt.org/

in a nutshell.. dentistry that does not include the use of mercury for filling teeth... ideally... also not using root canal treatments and other harmful materials to address tooth issues...

always prioritise general overall well being over vanity
