hi all, actually i was forced to work. not here to share my sob stories, but think it will help if i just summarize the chain of events. my father owns a trading company, and my husband was running the company as VP. i found out that he was having an affair with a china woman, so my dad immediately booted him out, taking back the house and car. divorce is more or less finalized with him getting the better deal (he does not want anything to do with the child, he just wants to be paid off), but due to power vacuum my brother in law was forced to step up to be VP and i have to fill in the GM position he left. i am still able to get some work done at home and in between, but i would not know how long the arrangement can last.


to me my domestics are just to clean up the house and keep the house in order and are not meant to be fill-in parent. the preschool near my house, (private estate) is recommended by my neighbor who have sent their sons there, but i am still uncomfortable that there is a male teaching staff and hence the thread in the preschool forum.

Okie, roger that. I have some experiences working with male

bosses. Not all are that bad. On a positive note, the children
will be getting sorta father figure too.. and for the working
environment seriously, less b****ing lah... A male counterpart
within a usually an all-female working environment offers a
no-nonsense kinda aura that will reduce petty office politics.
