Any feedback on Mindstretcher's GEP prep class? I called them up recently and the fee is $280 for 4 lessons for 1 subject (Eng or Maths). If sign up both Eng and Maths that will be $500. Anyone has tried?
Although they said that the fees is $500 for 4 lessons if you take both subjects, they told me that if the first lesson is not at the start of the month, you'll have to pay the full price of $70 for 2 hours, resulting in $560 per month. I was surprised at the fact that the 4 lessons are based on the start to the end of the month, and its quite unreasonable for them to be charging us more if we enter in the middle of the month. I'm wondering how will they charge us if a particular month has 5 weeks.
They also charged me $560 for deposit instead of $500. means the last month lessons should be paid $560 but no $500. :x :x :x -
Can anyone share the feedback on MS located at Bishan? I mean P2 Maths & English? The High Achiever & Achiever what are the differences? What is the group size for teacher to student ratio?

my girl only attended ms bishan writer toolbox, not the regular math or eng. my friend let her child attended math but find the teacher just give wkshet, nvr explain. as for writer toolbox, that teacher my child had w as quite gd, got explain. so it depends whc teacher u get.
high achiever supp to be for kids band 1 but dependg on demand, there may not hv such a class -
hi to all mothers .
Just wanted to know how do you all feel of the design and layout in YewTee mindstrecture?
I like the waiting area where the children go in and wait for lesson to start/go home. But I feel it's kinda cramped, yes?
Also, do you or your child often gets confused over which classroom to enter?Considering there's HA and A.
Thank You in advance .

My gal is attending the P3 Maths class at Bishan (not the GEP class)..lots of worksheets (currently doing model problem sum) to be done within 2 hrs, sometimes they hv to complete 1 or 2 questions as homework. I asked my gal if she did all by herself or the teacher went thru the questions with them. She said the teacher will write and explain the solutions. I asked if she understands, she said yes. I spotted a few errors, which I believe she copied wrongly i.e wrong model, but answer is correct. This makes me doubt if she REALLY understands the solution.my girl only attended ms bishan writer toolbox, not the regular math or eng. my friend let her child attended math but find the teacher just give wkshet, nvr explain. as for writer toolbox, that teacher my child had w as quite gd, got explain. so it depends whc teacher u get.

In my opinions, most of the questions are somehow a lot tougher and trickier than the schoolwork. I would say, they belong to the challenging questions category found in the assessment books. It will be good if she can understand them. I prob got to find a day to revise those questions with her again..get her to redo without seeing the solutions. -

anw, comparing with TLL, their service is not in a professional way with courtesy. so i have stopped having any interest in this center. :x I planned to change my dd's leaning from TLL to MS, but i got to there 4times, they've all made me feel very bad. enough, there is large difference between.

I notice that MindStretcher do not have any makeup lessons if the class falss on a Public Holiday. So maybe at certain months the child would get only 3 lessons!

but on a 5-week mth, u dont hv to pay extra for the 5th week either.
