I think, you mean Tg Katong Secondary School (mixed school).
No such Tg Katong Technical lah!
I am not sure in terms of school culture in Tg Katong girls.
However, Outcome of 'O’level results are similar between Tg Katong girls and IJ Toa Payoh because both school achieved in "band-2".
My personal opinion, (for my child), I will choose Tg Katong girls as it is available express only.
IJ (Toa Payoh) has express/NA/NT. So, the school needs to focus on wide range.
One more info, COP - Tg Katong girls - 234 -266 & IJ - 238-257 (* Non-Affiliation) in 2010

During my time, Tg Katong Secondary was known as Tg Katong Technical. They just changed the name, but everything else remains the same.
