Hi, would like to ask if any of your children have been selected for Meet the Genius session or if any of you have attended such a session before? My son has been selected to present at a "Meet the Genius" session. We have not decided what he should present yet. Wondering what the session is like, e.g. is it usually well attended, is it just the child’s presentation or is there Q&A session, etc? Thanks.

I heard about this method and was encouraged to sign up for my 6month babe. Don’t wanna stressed her out at this age but was told it boosts her learning. Any advice?

sent my gal over to SM since 3m ago when she was 1yo..

          term 1:
learning to stand, doesnt wanna sit still, kept wanting to stand up on the chair. gotta make her sit on my lap as she is not strong enuff to stand up. Not really focusing too.

          term 2 (juz started):
finally trained her well on not to stand on the chair. 😄 But she is now learning to walk, doesnt wanna sit on the chair too! wanna stand on the floor. Not really focusing too, wanna go see the posters on the back.. sigh. so far din see her walking ard yet, maybe oso dun dare to.

Now trying to train her to sit on the chair while i do flash cards with her at home. Probably will try the 5 mins method too.

read quite a no of success stories from parents ‘enduring’ the kids running ard, not focusing or doing activities to able to sit and focus in classes. Really hope i can overcome these challenges with my gal soon.

            Hi Charlotte,

I guess all kids react differently.
But do remember, for right brain training, parents also got to do home training with their kid to make the training effective.

Perhaps you can go online to look for right brain education materials.

It is pretty normal for kids to walk around.

DD2 enjoyed her class very much but after more than 1 yr, when we had a new teacher at a new term, she refused to attend the class and we simply just let her sit OUTSIDE the class until the class ended. We paid a term money for NOTHING.

hi Nancy Yeoh, thanks for your encouragement. i have been training her with flashcards as well as read to her at home. but it's tough to get her pointy butt to be seated on the chair for long even at home. 😞
