      carebear:
Received a flyer from a tuition centre offering intensive PSLE math training and this is one of the questions they printed on the flyer which i find it unsolvable.

Container A contains 250 RED marbles and 200 BLUE marbles.
Container B contains 600 RED marbles and 150 BLUE marbles.

How many RED and BLUE marbles must be removed from Container A to Container B such that 25% of the marbles in Container A are RED and 75% of the marbles in Container B are RED?
This is similar to the question that tianzhu has so kindly solved for us here:

hi had a question that i could not really understand :\\

Nancy started cycling from point X to the library at 9a.m. at a uniform speed of 500m/min. At 9.10am,Nancy passed Sam as he started cycling from Y towards the library at a certain uniform speed. At 9.20am,Sam was 1km ahead of Nancy. They continued cycling towards the library and Sam reached there at 9.37am

                (a) What was Sam's speed? (leave ur answer in km/h)

                (b) What was the distance from Point X to the library? (Leave your answer in km)

would gladly appreciate ur help šŸ˜„

                      Hi, please help

                      1) Mrs Ismail spent $30 on a number of plates and 65% of her remaining money on a number of cups. If she had 20% of her total money left, how much money did she have at first?

                      2) Sally has a bottle containing some red and blue beads. If she adds in 10 red beads, 60% of the beads in the bottle are blue. If she adds in another 30 blue beads, 75% of the beads in the bottle are blue. How many red beads are in the bottle?

                      TIA
