At Popular, if using NTUC master card, it’s 1% rebate…maybank 5% rebate.

furthermore, when hubby applied for maybank, 10 years annual fee waiver.
sometimes, cold storage has similar rebate promotion with maybank for grocery purchases.

Realized UOB cards have good promotions for eateries.

          :yikes:

Reading all the above I was :scared: :yikes: :yikes:
          Am I short-changing myself?
Am I going to be happier after swiping all these stuff while in a foul mood?? Or will I get heartache over stuff that I would not have bought on a normal situation? Is the issue gonna be solved after all these purchases??

...... I guess different strokes for different people. If I am to go on a shopping spree while being angry, I think I will anyhow splurge & come home even more fedup. And this time not just with someone else, it's with myself 😉

may bank has tie up with Ntuc meh? I always use Ntuc union card when I buy from Ntuc.
I have the Union card too, accumulate points and points can be used to offset against purchase. There's also cash rebate once a year from NTUC

Charge NTUC purchase to Maybank family & friends credit card will get another 5% off when receive bank credit card statement

              Same same.
I can't shop when I'm angry because my mind will keep re-play the scene. Where got mood to shop.

I prefer to read manga in this situation.

Wa.. Then you must be very busy hor.. Constantly racking your brains, thinking of ways on how to make your hubby raise his voice at you (again), so that you can have an excuse to buy branded stuffs (again)..

No wonder you get such (cheap) thrills, spending (wasting) your hubby's hard-earned money.. Tsk x 3..

On stretching dollar, I find Standard Chartered Bank’s Xtra saver account pretty good. Need maintain minimum balance with the bank and it gives at least 2% cash rebate for all master card purchase.

It’s actually a debit card but can be used like any credit card except there’s no credit period since amount will be directly deduct from your bank balance. So don’t even have to remember to write cheque to pay monthly statement.

Wow.. Stripe until you happy ah.. You sure know how to make yourself \"happy\" huh..

Suggest you meet up with Janet and discuss over a cuppa coffee on what your next moves would be.. Remember, you two need \"excuses\" to shop.. You two need to feel angry to buy things.. You two need to make a HELL out of other people's lives to feel 'happy'..

Birds of a feather should flock together.. Shouldn't they?

No, BC.. We are definitely not short-changing ourselves.. We are just one league above some people (you know who they are)..

We shop when we are happy.. But they shop when they are angry..

We feel happy when our husbands are happy.. But they feel happy when their husbands are sad..

Our husbands buy things for us with their money (without even us asking).. But they buy things for themselves with their husbands' money just to spite them..

Our hearts are filled with LOVE for one another.. But their hearts are filled with HATRED & RESENTMENT for one another..

                        So, who are short-changing themselves???
