Posting process vs Selection

If Pupil A T-score 230, chosen the near min agg of that school say 232, then, does that mean if got in, he will likely to be in the last class?

It depends on the school's practice. Some schools will rank the students based on their PSLE scores and place them in classes accordingly. Others will mix all the students up and have mixed ability classes. -
my daughter wants to try for first 3 options that has higher COP follow by 4-6 within her COP. Is this advisable? What happens if another applicant who choose 1st option for that school and hers is 4th option, will she have a equal chance?

Posting is purely by merit first, followed by choice. So if your dd's PSLE score is higher than the next applicant, all her options will be considered before that next applicant. So what you are proposing is safe.
If your dd shares the exact same score as the next candidate, right down to the last decimal, then the girl who put the school as 1st choice will have priority. -
Have few school in mind but not sure to put which one as 3rd or 4th option; first 2 options intend to try to school with higher COP.
Should I select school based on the banding of the school? My DD has 231+2 and we are staying in East - Pasir Ris. Any recommendation?
Thank you very much. -
Wondering about the selection process for borderline cases. Say a school’s COP is 255, will all applicants with 255 be accepted? Or will there be a subtle differentiation of which 255’s being selected, based on, possibly, HMT scores, 1st/2nd choice, merit (A*) in specific subjects…etc.

No, not all with 255 will be accepted. Depends on school vacancy and also the decimal points behind these 255 scores which we cannot see. -

I don't think this is correct.eo1668:

According to the booklet, \"Pupils with the same rounded aggregate score vying for the last place in a school will be posted based on their unrounded aggregate scores, followed by citizenship. The posting of candidates with the same citizenship will be determined by a computerised ballot where each candidate is given an equal opportunity.\" -
Prioritize selection with affiliated school e.g CJC, is it wise to try the following?
Pupil A score only 226, choices below;
1. Hai Sing Catholic 224-241 (with affiliated to CJC)
2. CHIJ Katong Convent 225-243 (with affiliated to CJC)
3. St Anthony Canossian 220-236 (with affiliated to CJC)
4. Pasir Ris 220-236
5. Bedok View 218-234
6. Bedok South 211-230 -
