Can check with anyone for CHIJ Our Lady of Good Counsel got any balloting? Since it exceed by a bit only? I registered for my daughter there, and did not receive any call from the school abt balloting.
Anyone can let me know? :?

Even if they only exceed by 1 they have to go to ballotting. I would guess that only 2km plus will have to ballot but you can call the school to check.

Yes there is balloting -- for students who stay >2km.

Hmm... St Gabriel's balloting... Wonder if it is due to a spillover effect of CHS... CHS lesser spaces so more Catholics didnt get it in 2B - so now cannot try MS - cos balloting is at 1 to 2 km so went to St Gab's to register instead!!


Argh!! The spillover effects of CHS is clearly felt!!!

actually might not be due to spill over from CHS cos this year St.Gab's intake is 30 places lesser than prev years.. 150 this yr vs 180 prev years.

I was so happy tot my distance was below 2km, but end up i'm above 2km so need balloting for chij, can i check with anyone if its possible to change me address to MIL's one cos her place is nearer to the school, or is it too late? :?:

It is not possible to change your address now. And it is also illegal to do so if you do not reside in your MIL address.

Thanks for all the information & updates. I am so happy that my daughter has been chosen to study at Rosyth!!! So excited before 10am with heart pounding. My hubby was there & said balloting only started at 10am+. Congratulations to all the parents who managed to be balloted. :celebrate:
