Going to NHPS this afternoon for meet the parents session for P5 for DS2.

Looks like the whole cycle of getting good grades from P5 SA1 onwards is beginning again in preparation for DSA.
Sigh. Here we go again. Sometimes we do feel that we are neglecting DS2 quite a bit with all the excitement of having the 1st kid in a secondary school.
But then since DS2 is not in GEP maybe can forget about all these and just concentrate on PSLE next year.

yes, u r right! I find it's very tiring going thru dsa. from ds experience and the dsa forum, I find that unless u r very sure yr child has a special talent or very interested in that sch, do not even try to dsa. Otherwise, the hassle of going thru it is really not worth it, might as well concentrate on PSLE itself.

Now that dd's turn is coming, I also feel that I have no more strength to go on. But we must pick up our momentum and start preparing them. Not sure about u, but dd is the last child for me to take PSLE...(sigh of relief)....so let's give it the best shot.

      Ha same for me.
Anyway I only have 2 so DS2 will be the last one going thru DSA/PSLE.

Traffic policeman: Why is there a mini bar in your car? Have you been drinking?
vlim: Er...it's just the Raffles spirit! (pun intended)
Maybe policeman is an ex-RI boy, so may give vlim chance... šŸ˜‰
Maybe vlim can stomp feet & cheer 'Raffles Raffles Raffles' together with policeman... šŸ˜†
But.. Wonder whats the chance of an RI boy becoming a policeman??? :scratchhead:

i share the same thots as you, vsk... DS2's turn is 3 years later, he is not from GEP, so most probably he wont try DSA, just concentrate on PSLE.
