Oh, can share abit more about the big difference, as my dd's school has not start any HMT lessons? TIA.

Hi Comfy, sharing some examples here.... 🙂

Sorry, I can't put in 声调 for the hanyupinyin, but itz 第四声 for both.[/quote]Thks 25hr mama for sharing. To be honest, I have difficulty understanding what you are trying to say at first but finally, I manage to get it.
Most likely my dd will have to depend on your trusty dictionary to help her.

Hi comfy, it’s not "what I’m trying to say". What i hv typed out is exactly what is printed on the worksheet. Juz that the brackets became smaller due to some distortion in the process of sending the post

Oops, sorry, it should be 'what you have written'. Yeap, I was trying to understand the distorted brackets. Glad to hear your clarification. And btw, the HMT seems kind of tougher now.

Wonder whether materials n worksheets for all subjects or in the case of HMT used by different GE centre, r they the same?

SS & EL most likely to be different as I know one Gep school has more materials & different workloads than my dd's school.

So used to be stressed out by spelling especially 默写 which even my sister in JC find it ridiculous for p3..

I think all 9 centres use the same materials as my ds' HCL worksheets were the same as his friend's from another school.

According to the other thread \"2011 GEP\", some gep parents (I think from NHPS) commented that the Chinese hws are tough. I think the materials are different and seems to be tougher than other GEP schools.

Talking about 听写, ds forgot to learn his yesterday and was learning over breakfast this morning. Sigh! :slapshead:

                        So I roughly know what's on the 听写 list. 3 sections: 1st section (50%) has around . . . maybe 15 4-words phrases. 2nd sect (20%) has 2 sentences followed by Sect3 (30%), a longer 默写 sentence.

Homework is done on the Activity book. As for worksheet, there's none so far . . I think.
