      I believe they should abolish this program due to 2 reasons:

      1. It perpetuates a culture and/or mentality of elitism which is not healthy for both parents and their children
      2. Even if we disregard the above, it no longer serves its purpose as the author of this thread clearly stated, there currently exist many centres that intentionally prepare students for this examination
