Thanks zac's mom. Will follow their conversations..
Try to go for their open house tmr. Their location quite central and personally i think their light blue uniform (dark blue polo) is quite nice. That’s all i know. Supposedly stronger in Arts than Sci.

Ok here’s my noob qn regarding JAE posting. Does choice order matter? Like how S1 posting was changed a few years back?

According to news report today, there are 23,503 who took the O levels last year. Thought there are less than 4000 in IP and IB. So total cohort just about 28k? I thought each cohort is much more than that…

I think the answer is cohort size x ~2/3 (now 68% or so) qualified for Express. There would have been some movement in and out and across streams, but the others would have been in the N exams (released last year). The total across all of these should get pretty close.

But there would be Sec5 students taking the O levels this year right? Unless a sizeable number of N level students choose not to go Sec 5 and thus do not take O levels ?

Based on the link above there is more than 39k live births in 2007, that’s not including new immigrant children..

The last S5 tally was just under 2,900 students in 2022.

                        Roughly speaking (2023 S4),
                        4,000 IP
                        23,500 took Os
                        13,500 took Ns

That's 41,000 vs. 2019 PSLE of 40,256. I'm not sure how to include the S5s, but ballpark I think it is ok / makes sense. Some other students can go to the local int'l schools, overseas, etc.
