Surprising the girls with a new something i'm trying out today.. They called to update me that the bus is late... feeder bus during peak hour like now is unpredictable... so travelling time plus minus walking the way back home, should take another 15-20 mins. By then the fish will be done and can be served fresh and hot from the oven. Literally. Hope they will like it. My first try. :xedfingers:

Hi vinegar and jedamum.. no problem sharing the recipe. But now the girls just returned home from school, plus gotta prepare all my children to get them all ready to send DD1 for her violin lesson. Till next time ya? :imanisland:

Yes, they can take sambal and sauce. One of our favourite family dishes when we dine outside, is BBQ Sambal Stingray. :drool:

OMG. :drool: Up to now I still don't understand why some nasi lemak vendors continue to insist on supplying that scrawny meatless and bony fish with their otherwise delicious food. What you have there is exactly what they should be providing!

He was also impressed i could whip (literally) it up so fast... he knew cos he once requested i cook this when his family rang to say they were coming over within the hour... this is one of their favourite all-time meal... since i had the ingredients available then, i agreed to his request and he was :skeptical: ... how come i was done so fast.

It was well received i suppose, cause i didn't have enough to ta bao for everyone.
