Saturday was rough...


We all had early dinner of double fish with mee sua in spicy soup at Banquet's Handmade Noodle Stall....

But it wasn't filling enough!

Sunday was buds_hubs' running event... think the 2XU 21km thingy or something... so we went for late lunch after he had his foot reflexology fix at our usual haunt. I couldn't (get my fix) cos the auntie was out due to qingming. But because of the run, buds_hubs was on a carbo rush! :yikes:

So he was thinking up all the steak lunches.. briyani set meals.. pasta sets.. wah leow.. Because of the onset of heavy rain, we decided to go IMM for our late lunch and also cos we can tide out (the rain) in the mall plus check out the newly-renovated IMM... it's been awhile since we went there eversince they began renovation works.

Because chubs was sleeping when we all ate, i was entrusted to bring him to Mac Donald's to have his nuggets meal when we went to send back my dad's car...


Because that outlet i went to had a Mc Cafe..

I couldn't resist the Double Chocolate..
Which is my current favourite drink these hot summer days..

Where to get the chewy stuff for bubur cha cha?

From NTUC is this one.

Normally near the tofu, noodles and pre-mix paste section.

The also sell it at Giant and Sheng Siong supermarkets. Sheng Siong even sells the bubur chacha mix - yam, sweet potatoes, pandan leaf, etc.. under the brand name Top Gourmet (if i remember it correctly).
