Your menu is so healthy. I foresee violent objections in my house.

      šŸ˜‚

My family is the opposite of yours.

If I tabao > twice in a week, my elder boy will ask why I am not cooking. Remember I said he raised his eyebrows when I told him I wanted to try out tingkat?

My younger boy will eat even less or choose to eat bread if tabao item is not to his liking.

The common frozen food in the fridge is frozen green peas/steamed veg.

2 days ago, we tried Gourment pizza - accepted by both

Sometime ago, we tried out Panseas dumplings - sick of it liao.

Hubby strongly objects to frozen cooked food.

On days I cook lunch, DS sometimes pre-orders his food. Like today I insisted on porridge so he asked for teriyaki salmon and omelette as add on.

He wolfed everything down within 20 mins.

wow, your boy has very good appetite. I like that.

Eating was a chore with my elder boy. Being firstborn, he was spoonfed by MIL til I could not tolerate anymore. Had a BIG fight with MIL bcos of this issue.

Hopped down to the supermarket there.. Cold Storage. We (my girlfriend and i) got grilled chicken to whip up a quickie (dinner) for the boss. Frankly, i'm getting quite good with these quickies. šŸ˜‰

Aniwaes, as promised i did an ice-cream recce for my favourite frenz in cyberspace and here you go...

The works people!!! I was in ice-cream haven. :faint:

Swensens ice-cream can be bought here. Likewise for the Tillamook. Told my friend we gotta buy this last just before we head to the cashier. We got side-tracked by a phonecall she had and some girl banter and actually left the supermarket without buying ice cream! 😢 :stupid:

But we decided to rush for a waffle fix at Gelare to make up for it.... bbbbbbut....

          .

          DD2 ate all the ice-cream! 😢

I'm without my ice-cream fix tonight! :frustrated:
It's starting to get warm too... 😢

Tomorrow, i must get my ice-cream!

          :yikes: the calories :scared:

His appetite is scary. Luckily he doesn't put on weight. Still slim. He goes for regular exercise with DH during weekends.
When he was a baby, he was easy to feed. The moment I put a spoonful of food into his mouth, he swallowed it quickly. Then opened his mouth for more. I had to invert his bowl to show him that there was no more food when I'm done feeding. He was a chubby baby but he lost all the weight when he was 2.

Breakfast starts at the table and continues in the car.... all the way till reached school :frustrated:

Especially stressful when she has tennis training, she takes so long to finish her meal that there isn't time for the food to digest before all the training :slapshead:

After I read slmkhoo's post on other thread, I now restrict her to finish within 45mins (being lenient here...) her food would be cleared if she doesn't finish it on time šŸ˜‰

Will further shorten to 30mins next month

I took 1 hour to eat when I was in primary school too. My grandfather often caned me for eating so slowly. Now I take 35 to 45 mins. Eat slowly. Enjoy every bite. I’m often the last one left at the table.

I only like my soup to be hot. The rest I prefer them to be warm.
I take my own sweet time to eat when I have my meals in a Japanese restaurant, high tea cafe or salad bar. If I'm eating with DH and DS, they just get to eat more while waiting for me to finish.

When I was in primary school, I didn't care if it was cold and hard. I ate very little back then. Simply no appetite!
