ER:
I want to check - have anyone of you signed your kids up for tuition yet? Which centers are good for IP English? Do you think they need it and have time to attend?
Hi ER,
1. Dun think DD has the time to attend.
2. We have no intention to send DD for EL tuition. The only tuition we may consider is for HCL. Cos we are a potato family!
Read somewhere that TLL is not too bad, but personally, I do not have any experiences with them. -

Is it going to be totally different from primary school days? I mean they spend all their time practising on assessment books, exam papers and all those tuition just couple of months ago. Do all these just \"vanish\"? I am elated if it does but seem a big change. -

I expect a big change!
With so many subjects and lessons ending in the early afternoon, plus 2 days on CCA till 5pm and then 3rd language, I really dont know when can I find time to slot in tuition. -

Besides, isn't it time we let the kids try and cope on their own first?ER:

They may just surprise us! And I like surprises.
(Do note that in my vocabulary, surprise is diff from shock) -
Yes, I think I will let dd handles her own affairs. Afterall, if we continue the hand-holding, when are we going to put a stop. It is time she learns to become independent.

From what I see, most of the self-motivated ones will learn and able to handle on their own. If really facing problems, then pump in the extra help
