Math Heuristics - Discussion

Not sure if concept math at goldhill is similar to math heuristic. I did not sign up at math heuristic as pricing and schedule is not possible.
-
I heard Maths Heuristics is using this UTM - Unit Transfer Method for the number, fraction, ratio, % type of problem sums. It is not the same as that taught in school, and the kid needs time to practise to perfect that. You may want to check out their book before your embark on the course.

hi nicholas25
when did u start to join mathheuristics at goldhill?
how are the teachers?
how is utm compared to model drawing? ur teachers accepted the method? -
Im joining their holiday class this month, I hope it benefits my child. ,hope its different than wat is taught in school cos my child say they are taught UTM in school. Its kind of expensive but as long as my child learns something new and can apply their method than I will be quite happy.

Hi
Has any parent sign up for their kid especially in P6 in this school. Seems like their course especially the P6 level is quite popular. Pls advise whether it is good.
Also they have the Science Heuritics for P6 students preparing for PSLE.
Tks -
