For tuition -personally I think it is good to do assessment books especially if the book goes by topic. Then the tutor will know our kids’ weakness.

I realise that my kids learn more in their tuition class than in their school.

I think depends on the teacher in school. There are some teachers that really can teach.

I agree. It really depends on which TEACHER is teaching, not which SCHOOL, and whether the student is listening attentively or is being distracted by surroundings and friends.

Hi Vinegar,i think you would need to go to Fruition Learning Hub for that. I was very worried about my child; he was weak in mathematics. I had discussed this problem with many people, in fact I had also discussed it with my child’s teacher but still I didn’t’ get any solution for it. I thought that maybe some personal issues were affecting him but I was wrong. Actually my schedule was very tuff; I was unable to give attention to my child. I had visited some tutors as suggested by my colleagues but I was looking for a long term solution instead, so one day I was referred to Fruition Learning Hub by one of my friends. After a phone conversation with the principal tutor of the centre, I went for an appointment.. The tuition centre looked clean and above all professional so I thought to give them a try for a couple of months. Their rate is pretty reasonable and principal tutor, Teacher Angie was a certified mathematics tutor so I felt that my child was in safe hands. Soon after a few weeks my child grades improved drastically and as a result one of my major worries came to an end. My child topped in mathematics and I cannot thank Fruition more for that. Great environment with good tutor

My niece is being tutored in a group of 4 at a tuition place in Chai Chee. The teachers are ex-teachers and specialised in Math. I think they are doing a great job to my niece.

                        Hi,

My DD has no problem in concept but has problem solving some questions requires high order thinking skill.
Anyone here any idea how I can help her on this?
                        She’s P5 this year.
