Amazing! Did he read the WHOLE bible or only the New Testament? How many days did he take to finish reading?

      I dunno.

He told me he impressed the Christian Values preacher with his Bible knowledge πŸ˜‚
Hmmm..let me try to understand. Christian Values is a subject that he takes in school? err... or a module taken in his Sunday School/Youth group? Good that he is interested in the bible knowledge, the next thing is to be able to apply in his daily life. πŸ˜„

We bou a Complete Works of Shakespeare at Borders donkey years ago @ $50 only. My elder boy would read it as part of his bedtime story. I find him weird πŸ˜‚

I know! It puts him to sleep faster than anything else could.

      :rotflmao:

If he reads this, he would be so offended :rotflmao:

:offtopic: he always has to read before going to sleep, says reading helps to wind down his mind.

I shall continue for 1 more day and then I will give up πŸ˜‰ What is interactive booklets?

      :offtopic:
Was unclear on my part πŸ˜‰
It's a set of 7 thin booklets on various A* Maths problem. Each booklet is one topic eg. Percentage, fraction
      Published by Learner Interactive.

Based on my 2 kids (sec1 & P6), the 7 booklets are more challenging than the orange 'Challenging Maths Made Easy by Ammxxx Wan'.
However I believe all these are the more challenging Maths assessment books (maybe there's new ones which I'm not aware), so may not be suitable for kids who dun like or not that strong in Maths.

It should be Learning Interactive (http://www.li.com.sg). When DD1 was in P6, her school ordered for all the students for (I think) the top 5 P6 classes. The booklets are very good. There are some very challenging questions marked with asterisks (*) that are catered more for those going for Maths Olympiad (I read the Intro page in front πŸ˜‰ ).

These booklets are only sold at their shop. It seems that many schools order the booklets but if your child’s school didn’t order, you can go to their shop to get from them direct.
Hi. I plan to download all 900+ pages of Q&A PSLE Maths onto Words document so it will be easier and faster for me to select questions I am interested in. Is it possible? Thank you.

It will be painstaking work. What I did myself was to go through the posts, select the ones I want and copied them to a powerpoint document.

It is indeed painstaking work, Chief. I've combed 70+ pages and I want to 😒 already. I thought can just download and scroll in Words docs. There are good problem sums there.
Wow! You're really hardworking. :salute: I didn't do that at all when DD1 was in P6. I just picked any question that popped up for her to try when I happened to be online. πŸ˜‰

      hi sunflower,

powerful enough and therapeutic for me too cos water jets out like fine needles.

i was worried about that too 'cos I was told higher filtration will compromise on the water flow output but heng, no issue.

again, not sure if the benefits as miraculous as claimed but for the promo price I got it, treat it as spa if it does work lor. πŸ˜‰
Hi radiantmum, thanks for the info. Hmmm... might give this shower head a try...
tatz why i also have a beauty ion shower head for my hair and skin :rahrah:

Hi radiantmum, is the water jet from the shower head strong enough? I've bought a filtered water ion shower head some years back and found that the water coming out is too little. Did not use it in the end, money wasted. Pl advise as I'm looking for one that's more \"powerful\" in terms of water jet. Thanks.

The ion shower head I know are mostly powerful and save water as well.

The video may gives you more inside.

Hubby was away for 3 weeks. I went out to buy 3 types of cookware, total slightly > S$400/-

A few days after his return, I showed him my new toys.

      He said: Hm, δ½ θŠ±ι’±οΌŒζˆ‘εΌ€εΏƒ.

A few days later, I went to buy a Zojirushi thermal pot, original price > S$400, discounted price < S$300.

Again, he responded: Hm, δ½ θŠ±ι’±οΌŒζˆ‘εΌ€εΏƒ.

He told me to post his response here and see what ksp kaki will say.

So what say you πŸ˜‰ ?
Hee, I think he feels proud and happy to have the means to let you spend as you please. πŸ˜„

For tuition -personally I think it is good to do assessment books especially if the book goes by topic. Then the tutor will know our kids' weakness.

I realise that my kids learn more in their tuition class than in their school.

I think depends on the teacher in school. There are some teachers that really can teach.

I agree. It really depends on which TEACHER is teaching, not which SCHOOL, and whether the student is listening attentively or is being distracted by surroundings and friends.
