You should at least tell the author what you like mah, especially since you are making a point to let him know you liked his post. Without the description, the author will have no idea which of his/her posts that you liked, or what you liked about it.Err.. why like must give reason or submit a post ar..?

Regardless, like sunflower said, it is ok to click submit without typing anything in the message box.
