Hi sahm_tan,Hi Bigsnoppy,
If you only looking at maths and have no element of shichida, you may want to look into Sakamoto.
Do u have any feedback on sakamoto? Are ur kids attending the class? -

Not yet but keen because their method can be used in PSLE when the kid does not know how to use model method to answer the problem sum questions. Of course other maths centres can help too but I rather like Sakamoto.
Some primary schools have also invited them to teach their students and teachers this method.
Now not sure to register in P1 or wait till P3.

I don't think so. I have to check with other parents but seems like also can use other methods to solve problem sums besides model method. If it is taught well, shouldn't get confused -
Jelic program-how can we be sure that the teacher is checking each child’s work foe each page of activity?I mean for Mpm, we can see from the workbooks, but for jelic, how to be sure?or the kids supposed to do all by themselves unless they need help?I am not too comfortable with my kids new jelic teacher.she doesn’t seem to check each page that the child does before moving on to the next page…of course there is the sticker page, but really how do we know that the teacher does guide the kids along instead of just letting them do the work by themselves, right or wrong?especially the course fees is not cheap if the kid doesn’t know whether what she does is right or wrong…
Other than jelic,I am also starting them on montesorri maths next month…thinking of trying out Cma too.maybe will drop one of them if they are ok with Cma lessons… -
You have to go with ur gut feel about the teacher. I didn’t know CMA is considered montesorri maths. But CMA is different from MPM so cannot compare.
