        Hi there,

Would like to find out which is more suitable for a 5yo kid - Jelic or MPM. My gal has been attending abacus class and is getting a little restless in class. Am considering a switch to a class that is not so montonous.

Any feedback on the PV branch?

        Thanks and regards,
        Sparkie

Dunno about Jelic so can't compare.
My 5yo DS went straight into MPM and had been enjoying himself.

Jelic is majority using tools/manipulatives. The child will translate what he/she has learnt onto worksheet which the parents can keep

MPM is mostly written work. There will be some manipulatives, on average 1 tool/manipulative for every month or so bah

Jelic is good for younger kids or for some more difficult concepts that are better understood with concrete materials. There are some P1 who are completing some aspects from Jelic.

In general Jelic is for 3 yos till mid K1- or starting K2 bah. ds benefitted from Jelic, I feel. DD1 after abt 2.5 yrs with MPM, didn’t like it anymore so I took her out from the programme though I like the MPM materials.

                  Hi

I was thinking of enrolling my k2 girl in MPM coronation plaza. Anyone has feedback about this branch? Heard they only have 1 lesson per week instead of 2.

                  thanks in advance!

I thought 1 lesson per week is the norm :?

2 lessons per wk can be arranged as long ad child can managed. Just have to pay the fees accordingly.

                        Hi,

Does MPM Maths req the kid to do homework after the lesson?

My dd is in P3 this year, however her Maths is rather weak with poor foundation. Do you think MPM Maths will help?
