All About English Creative Writing

hi kitty-mum,
My take is that holiday classes are short term pills - good for boosting or for introduction as to what the school does; but long term, the help may wane off. I enrolled DS1 in a chinese idiom class when he was in K1. At the end of the class, he was able to recite a whole laundry list of idioms. But now, all throw into the rubbish bin already.
If your girl is able to learn and apply the rules, then the holiday class may help kickstart her writing. -
Looking for creative writing class for my girl who will be in k2 next year. British council napier rd/ LCentral tiong bahru/ mind stretchers clementi which is good ? Can anyone have an idea abt these centres?

my DS joined BC’s P1/P2 holiday creative writing class when he was in P1. It was fun for him as his cousin also joined, but I think he did not learn much. It is better to go for regular classes.

Hi hquek & Atan,
Thanks for the advice.
Did any parents send their kids for Creative Writing Class at Edufarm in Pasir Ris?
Is it good? -

Did any one try the English Holiday Program at BrainFit Classroom? They were running some road shows recently & was promoting it.

Hello TAS
Was searching for some information, happened to come across this, looks interesting, but the post date seems quite old, is the material still avail to purchase, how to go abt it? Thanks -
hi kidsmaid,
TAS books are now largely available at Popular - I assume you were asking about their creative writing book? -
Thanks for yr reply, yes. There are a number of creative writing books at Popular, how should i look for it? Under which publisher? Tks.

Hi Kidsmaid,
Not sure where Popular puts those, but the publisher is The Alternative Story, and the book is about A4 size, black cover. They had recently published their vocab book that is also available in Popular.
Else, if you stay near to AMK, you may like to visit their centre (during opening hours only) directly.
