in fact, there were 8 others who were lucky to escape unhurt: the second taxi (1 driver+4 passengers), the motorcyclist’s friend, a passer by crossing the road and a black sedan car which just passed by the wrecked taxi…

It's scary for us...can you imagine the fear of that motorcyclist when he said the tyre went straight at him :nailbite:fightingmom:
It's horrifying to watch that accident.
Yah... I watched once and just couldn't bear to watch it the second time :scared:
Want to drink, don't drive. Want to drive fast car, pls don't do so in Singapore. Go to Australia where there are hills and deserted areas.
Lives are lost and families are broken up. Is it fair to them ? Taxi driver was earning just $1700. Japanese woman was in the prime of her life.
don't need to go so far....just need to wait till sep and bring his car to marina bay will do..... -
The Ferrari can definitely race for F1 but the driver isn’t qualified to compete with Hamilton. As for the female companion, it was mentioned that she emerged from the car after that…then how come it was mentioned she had head injuries.

It's fine to buy fast car (sports car) but you still have to follow the traffic rules. Frankly to buy sports car in Singapore, it's only for the rich to flaunt..but if you want speed here..then better dun buy. It's very irresponsible to say \"his husband went to practise at night\"...what does he take Singapore road for?
u ever seen d young with ah beng look behind d wheel of felali, lambo? -

This is also big news in China.http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D8JfAaOABk4g%26feature%3Dshare&feature=share&v=8JfAaOABk4g&gl=SG
Hong kong tv talks about it as well
Banning fast cars shouldn't be out of the question. We have banned chewing gums and big fierce dogs. Can't depend on people to be responsible so better play safe and ban. If they want to play with dangerous items, we can't stop them but we should stop them if it become dangerous to others. The F driver had it easy - bang and he's dead in a second. The rest of the victims and their families suffered. The taxi driver who took the video was counting his lucky stars just seconds after he witnessed the accident. Our government should freeze his assets and work out a compensation from his estate for all the victims. Maybe we should have such laws that prevent FT from running away and paying for their reckless act. The F wife is pitiful actually. However, if she really innocently thought that her DH was taking his car for a spin, she must be naive or the family wealth had gone up her head. Obviously her DH has another toy. Though it's understandable that she felt cheated, she should more or less have known what to expect when she first married a rich man. -

Singapore is wrong place to speed. Can flaunt wealth, but fast car cannot speed. -

Do u know abt d Woffles Wu case? He is a local.Got la. Irresponsible drivers get banned from driving. I only hope that TP will look into driving license conversion - don't make it so easy becos the conditions here are quite different from other places.
When in china, I never fail to marvel how they can squeeze and swerve to get there faster. I just hope there won't be more of such drivers in SG, it's excellent skills, yes, be harrowing for other road users.
