Call up the school to ask. NHPS is known for being extremely stringent in its PV selection process, so it's good to be well-prepared.

Yes if u stay out of 2km from NHPS and registering under phase 2C, I would say forget it liao too...

Actually they do accept PVs but they are very very stringent on it. U must prove that u can really contribute to the school and do something they really need before they accept u.

Maybe another way is to try the grassroots leader route which would qualify u under phase 2B too..

hello, am new here but have been reading the thread on Nan Hua. daughter still a baby and no plans yet for Nan Hua but am just wondering if it will be very tough for child to cope if both parents are not at all good in the chinese language šŸ˜› (ie. not fluent in spoken neither able to read) since knowing that the school's students are required to learn Higher Chinese.

              thanks so much šŸ™‚

                Hi All,

Do go through the past balloting history to gauge your chance getting into Nan Hua Pri & Clementi Primary. Here is the website link.

                http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/clementi

If I'm not wrong, Nan Hua would always have balloting for those staying in 1Km & Clementi Primary is balloting at 1-2Km.

Looking at Clementi Area, these 2 schools are the hot cakes type category. Wish you all good luck.

well, even if accepted into PV, I see from past statistics that at phase 2B, the number of vacancies even lesser than NYPS. So tough fight.

I'm in dilemma.. which school to choose.. both clementi and Qifa are beyond 1km under 2km. My hubby is old boy of clementi thus will prob get into sch easily.

Clementi is surround by HDB blocks - that's why school is hot? or it is due to academic or good teachings? How about Qifa Pri? Top student 2009 from Qifa? I am confused.

Could pls give me some tips or advice? :?:

                        Hi all,

Heard from a close friend that the principal of Nan Hua Pri Sch will be transferred to Nan Yang Pri Sch with effects from 2011.

                        Can anyone confirm this?

Will this affect the school performance?

                        Cheers!
