      Mama Windy:
Is Clementi Primary better than Pei Tong?

base on the number of applicants, Clementi Pri seem to be better. have went to both sch website and notices that Pei Tong and Qifa do not show the past year PSLE results, so I am wondering it is becos the results is no good or wat?

Hi, I am also under phase 2c sup. I also need comments and better if experienced parents from either Pei Tong or Qifa about what are the characteristics of both schools, eg. their strength or weakness.

Heard that there is one in Clementi CC, 3rd floor, you may call the CC 6778 1950 to find out the name of the BASC or alternatively check the MCYS web at Clementi area see link below

            http://app.mcys.gov.sg/web/serv_dss_main_result_region_vm.asp

            Hope this will help you.

Call up the school to ask. NHPS is known for being extremely stringent in its PV selection process, so it's good to be well-prepared.

Yes if u stay out of 2km from NHPS and registering under phase 2C, I would say forget it liao too...

Actually they do accept PVs but they are very very stringent on it. U must prove that u can really contribute to the school and do something they really need before they accept u.

Maybe another way is to try the grassroots leader route which would qualify u under phase 2B too..

hello, am new here but have been reading the thread on Nan Hua. daughter still a baby and no plans yet for Nan Hua but am just wondering if it will be very tough for child to cope if both parents are not at all good in the chinese language šŸ˜› (ie. not fluent in spoken neither able to read) since knowing that the school's students are required to learn Higher Chinese.

                      thanks so much šŸ™‚

                        Hi All,

Do go through the past balloting history to gauge your chance getting into Nan Hua Pri & Clementi Primary. Here is the website link.

                        http://www.kiasuparents.com/kiasu/content/clementi

If I'm not wrong, Nan Hua would always have balloting for those staying in 1Km & Clementi Primary is balloting at 1-2Km.

Looking at Clementi Area, these 2 schools are the hot cakes type category. Wish you all good luck.
