I 'm not sure if you attended balloting before. For today's balloting,i knew that triple siblings share same number, that means they have 6 chances using one number while our citizen's child only have 2 chances using one number,is it fair? That's why those twins ans triples success today.
oh that means the twin will have 4 x the same no? Hmm..then really higher possibility...since kena 1 both get in...DDS:
Balloting failed:(:( Got 2 twins and 1 triple sibings and they successful got 7 places, felt it's unfair to single child.Sooo dispointed
Hi ruiruimum, i dun think it is right to say that it is unfair to single child. The twins and the triplets all shared the same ballot slips so everyone has an equal chance. Just my humble opinion.
but gal, maby your kid is fated to EXCEL in another school! Am sure with you as a good mother he/she will be well taken care. :hugs: -

They didn't get 4 or 6 slips. They just happened to be lucky in the ballot. By combining their names in the same slip, they have reduced the number of ballot slips in the box, but just that if picked they take up additional places. So this is not unfair to the single child.DDS:

ya indeed, for 3 sets of multiple birth kids to get balloted in when there are only 28 places.
best of luck for your next phase. -
anyone know out of the 38 who applied under nan hua 2B, how many are fm PV and grassroots?

ruiruimum:
Yes for twins/triplets, they can choose to either ballot individually (means each child gets 2 slips) or collectively (means 2 slips for each set of twins/triplets).
O I see, thank ur clarify!Sorry about my complain.I have to say thay are too luck!
For the former, only the child that gets picked will get a place and the twin that doesn't get picked will have to go to another school. For the latter, the whole set of twins/triplets will go through. So you see, it is a calculated risk on the part of the parents, they get fewer slips but if they win, they really win big!
If these twins/triplets were to be picked last then the school will have to create more places for them but since they weren't, they took up 7 out of the seats alloted for P2C. Like in St Nick's Girls at P2B, the twins were picked last and the school had to take an extra seat from P2C to give it to them at P2B.
So they were indeed lucky!
I suggest you look at Pei Tong/ Bukit Timah Pri if you are within 1-2km of these schools as I predict Qifa will ballot for <1km at 2C(S).
Good luck! -
How many registered for qifa today?I cann’t find it at MOE website.

You need to call school directly to ask or wait for 8pm for MOE website to be updated.
