Look at the absolute worst possible scenario, and see where your child might end up after failing phase 2CS. If that's a school you don't mind sending your child to, then go ahead and try for NH.

THC, if ballot fail, under next P2c supp, I think it will be Pei Tong left. If you aren't willing to go Pei Tong, perhaps try change your P2c strategy to qifa or clementi with guaranteed in if u r <1km

Just finished registering at Qifa Primary…painless process, facilitated by parent volunteers there. We were registration #51 out of a total of 125 spaces available for 2C. Not a particularly big crowd there…ethnic Chinese and Indian…whole process took less than 30 minutes.

Q is 64 at Qifa now, pretty surprised by high take up rate.

I suspect a lot of applicants from distances beyond 1 km...Qifa has historically been a low balloting risk, so maybe some people don't want to take their chances with Nan Hua, Clementi Pri, etc.

Just to share, last year i ballot for NHPS at PG2C even though i knoew the stats is only 30% historically. I could have gotten into Qifa, Clemeti or Pei Tong at PH 2C if i had chosen these. I always had PTPS as my final back up. I was balloted out of NHPS and went ballot again at PH 2CSupp this time at Qifa which is mere 50 metres from my home . 19 parents going for 17 places. I thought chances should be good at the back of my mind i was also contemplating Pei Tong at Phase 2C supp as i prefer school that are single session. nevertheless i still try for balloting knowing that at the end of the day should i fail Qifa ballot i am still ok for DS to go to PTPS.

My ballot at Qifa also failed. i am one of the two parent that could not get in. But somehow i did not feel overly sad and dejected as right from the beginning i was hoping for NHPS but had mentally prepared myself for PTPS and I had no regrets .At least i feel that i have tried

So it really boils down to whether PTPS is what you want. As like most people here, i really doubt Qifa will have much spaces left for ph2C Supp.

I haven't register... still in Jakarta right now :slapshead: ... So how do you find Pei Tong so far?
I am apprehensive abt Qifa and Clementi because both are afternoon session for P1 and this is a domestic challenge for me.
