We just return from Bangkok Safari World. Our kids ( 10,8 and 6 ) love it ! We enjoy the drive through safari park very much as we rented a car for 2 days and we drove to Safari world on one of the day. we get to drive through the safari section at a leisurely pace while all the tour buses simply zip pass. We can choose to pause and observe the animals and I think it is very good park and well designed and lots of animals. We have zebras crossing in front of our car, Rhino less than 1 meter away from the car and there is an entire herd of Giraffes at least over 200. The Giraffe feeding terrace at the Zoo section ( they call it the Marine Park ) is very nice and you can actually feed/pet/hug and be so close to the giraffe. It's an unforgettable experience for the kids. If you are ok to drive, its not difficult to get there w GPS help only about 40mins drive. The Marine park is quite well maintained and the show - Orang Utan Show and the Dolphin Show is good. The cowboy stunt show has lots of special effect but quite violent and no storyline, can give it a miss. The sea lion show is ok.

Signing in too as DS1 taking PSLE in 2017. DS1 SA2 compo got a D … Faint… Couldn’t complete writing the 4 pictures. Only did 2.5-3 pictures. A big gap to work on for the next 3 years

My DS also say Math Super Tough… all his brain juice depleted . The GA 2 is comparatively easier compared to the Math.

Yes. I think so . It was stated so in the website so you may want to research and see which are the schools with remaining vacancy after Phase 2CS and be first in queue at your selected school when phase 3 starts

Hi, MOE will allocate all SC and SPR who are unsuccessful at Phase 2CS before opening up the remaining balance places for Foreigners at Phase 3. MOE will assign remaining people to the schools that still has vacancy after phase 2Cs in accordance to the parents request. Hope that clarifies

How come they didnt post u to ur 1st choice among the 3 schools u chose?
Do they allow us to list in priority like
1st choice
2nd choice
3rd choice?

Did u opt for transfer after that?

Hi , The form that you fill up is at given to me by the principal of the P2Cs school that my DS was balloted out. DS1 got into the 1st choice amongst the 2 schools i list . This 1st choice choice also happen to be my 3rd choice school originally. ( I standby 3 schools from the start and knew that i will still be happy in terms of distance and my the 3rd choice school used not to have any balloting at all in the past years and it is within 1-2km , so i was quite prepared that i may end up w the 3rd choice school onec i decide to try for balloting for 1st choice school. )

I did not attempt to transfer my boy as I thought of letting him to try the school.
I try for PV again for my DS2 and was selected and was lucky enough to be balloted in during P2B this year. I will try to tarnsfer DS1 to DS2 school and will wait list for P3 at DS2 school.

I read somewhere we will have to choose 3 schs and moe will post us to either 3 schs before phase 3 starts.

I was in the same boat as you 2 years ago, I was balloted out at 2C and again at 2Cs. At the 2Cs ballot if you are balloted out, the school will request you to fill in 3 schools name that you wish MOE to post your kid to before phase 3 ( for foreigners ) . My DS1 was posted to my original 3rd choice school. So do have a back up if you need to ballot or go for a school that will not need to ballot for your distance in Phase 2C supp.

I was the 2nd to register for Phase 2B but DS ball no is 21 and our surname starts w C . wasn't too sure if it is by birth cert no too.

In all fairness, the balls nos are also randomly placed that is not in alpabetical order. At the start, the spinner also lay out the instruction from MOE on the spining method. She is to spin gently clockwise 3 rounds and then anticlockwise to catch the ball. Hence, it really boils down to luck as to what is the number ( or banding ) that your child’s ball is. So, MOE may want to tweak the instructions to the school to give the cage a few hard spins as those who have seen the balloting will testify that the balls in the middle does have a higher probability of getting chosen.
DS ball was the last to be picked. He was no, 21 out of 28 nos just slightly out of the middle band.
